Work you could do as a Consultant Intern: The IBM Payments Centre provides a variety of payment solutions to clients, and our specialized teams serve these needs. As an IBMer you will collaborate with colleagues in a team-focused environment, working with different perspectives to drive exceptional outcomes for our customers. IBMers must demonstrate courage daily to make the critical decisions required to ensure IBM continues to be a catalyst for progress.

Develop an understanding of our client’s future state goals and processes, then define the steps needed and leading technologies to help turn their goals into reality. This position resides in Toronto and is a 8 months work term commencing in January 2027. All applicants must be eligible to work full‑time in Canada and enrolled full‑time in an eligible post‑secondary program. It is mandatory that applicants return to full‑time studies upon completion of the work term.





Candidates pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degrees are eligible. MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible for this opportunity.

High School

Diploma/GED Bachelor's Degree Required technical and skilled expertise Has experience with both business and technology. Can understand clients’ needs and challenges and apply creative and logical approaches to identify solutions. Demonstrate quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights.

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools. Preferred technical and professional experience Experience with banking, payments, or digital assets. Can translate business requirements into technical solutions.
