The Henry & William Evans Home is seeking a compassionate, motivated Independent Living Coordinator to help prepare youth for successful adulthood while serving as part of our residential care team. This position requires availability afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities Teach independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, employment readiness, transportation, and household management. Develop and monitor individualized Independent Living Plans. Mentor and support youth in achieving personal, educational, and career goals.
Work alongside direct care staff to reinforce life skills through daily activities. Provide direct supervision and support during assigned shifts. Maintain documentation and collaborate with schools, caseworkers, and community partners.
Schedule ~ This is a full-time position that requires afternoon and evening availability,
with occasional weekend hours as needed to support youth programming and residential operations.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred (relevant experience considered).
Experience working with youth, foster care, or residential programs preferred Minimum 1 year working with youth required Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and ability to pass required background checks. This full time position combines direct care with life skills instruction in a supportive, team-oriented environment dedicated to helping youth build successful futures.
