The Family Service
Manager will play a critical role in overseeing programs funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, while guiding a team of professionals. You will be responsible for budgeting, staff evaluations, and ensuring that the services meet the cultural needs of Indigenous families. A deep commitment to community-centered practices is essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a dedicated team of up to 15
- Handle program contracts with compliance and oversight
- Oversee staff hiring, training, and evaluations
- Participate in strategic planning and goal monitoring
- Manage departmental budgets with accuracy
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or related field
- 7–10 years in Indigenous service delivery
- 3–5 years in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with Indigenous legislative frameworks
- Valid driver's license required
