JOB OVERVIEW:

Protagon Display Inc. is looking for an Industrial Designer to join our highly creative team. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across the business and support the design needs of well-known brands across North America, from concept through to manufacturable, production-ready designs.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop new displays and product features for well-known brands.
- Create 3D models, renderings, and prototypes using Solidworks and KeyShot to communicate and validate design concepts.
- Apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and ready for production.
- Collaborate with internal model shop, manufacturing, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Support fabrication and prototyping activities, including sheet metal design and laser-cut components where applicable.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications/Skills

- Graduate of an Industrial Design program, or a background in Mechanical or Design Engineering.
- Proficiency in Solidworks and KeyShot.
- Sheet metal design experience.
- Experience working in a design environment.

Assets:

- Fabrication or manufacturing experience.
- Laser cutting experience is a bonus.
- Design for manufacturing (DFM) knowledge
