Reporting to the Product Manager, the incumbent works on the design and improvement of innovative architectural luminaires in compliance with the various applicable standards. He/she collaborates with Product Managers in the development of scopes, identifies opportunities for innovation and proposes solutions. He/she cooperates with various internal and external resources to bring projects to fruition.

Design standard and customised products. Follow quality procedures related to product design and engineering. Select materials and components according to applications. Promote a high level of quality within the department.

Participate in product testing and installation for assigned projects when required. Provide technical support to other departments. Document projects according to department procedures.



Bachelor's degree in industrial design or any other program/experience deemed relevant. ~2-5 years of relevant product design experience. ~1-2 years' experience in the lighting industry (or related industry) will be considered an asset.

Proficiency in Solidworks. Be bilingual, French and English, spoken and written. The incumbent will be required to interact daily with international colleagues, customers or partners who speak only English.
