Embark on a hands-on career as an Industrial Mechanic Apprentice in Ontario. Support licensed tradespersons with troubleshooting and maintenance in a busy manufacturing setting. This full time position focuses on developing skills in mechanical and electrical repair under seasoned guidance.
You'll participate in preventative maintenance, assist with installations, and engage in root cause analysis. Your work will help enhance equipment reliability and support the continuous improvement of production processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment issues
- Participate in preventative maintenance activities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Support emergency breakdown response efforts
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders
Requirements:
- Registered Ontario Apprentice (433A Millwright or 442A Electrician)
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
