Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

JOB SUMMARY:

- Assist with the fabrication, installation, modification and adjustment of production equipment;
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with the maintenance program;
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and related equipment issues;
- Inspect equipment, identify potential risks, and communicate maintenance concerns and repair requirements to the supervisor;
- Adjust, replace, lubricate, clean, and maintain production equipment and components as required;
- Perform minor welding, electrical, and carpentry repairs to support plant operations;
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and schematics;
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency;
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification, Red Seal or Advanced Apprentice status preferred;
- Industrial maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting experience;
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Ability to read blueprints,



technical drawings, and schematics;
- Solid problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills;
- Self-motivated and able to work independently;
- Physically capable of performing the requirements of the position;
- Willingness to travel within Manitoba, as required.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

- Permanent position;
- 40 hours per week;
- Rotating schedule;
