Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects Internal Title: Cost Analyst Provide cost control services including budget management, cost tracking, commitment management, accrual management, forecasting, cash flow management, change management support, cost reporting, cost assurance, and cost performance analysis. Provide cost control resources and subject matter expertise at junior, intermediate, senior, lead, and advisory levels to support invoice review and validation, commitment management, payment processing, accruals, forecasting,
cash flow management, financial analysis, reporting, and cost assurance activities.
Provide quantity surveying services and subject matter expertise including quantity verification, field quantity validation, quantity reconciliation, progress measurement support, productivity assessments, invoice review support, commercial evaluations, change order assessments, and quantity-based performance analysis. Support the development and management of project budgets and cost estimates Work closely with project teams to ensure that budgets are aligned with project goals, timelines are realistic, and cost estimates are accurate Track project costs, identify potential cost overruns or issues, and proactively communicate with project stakeholders to mitigate risks Contribute to the creation of cash flows and “Estimated Final Costs” for large capital projects Ensure schedules for acquisition projects are prepared, monitored, and maintained Provide project control support for all aspects of the capital budget preparation Monitor cost analysis, controls, and reconciliation for the assigned projects Collaborate on reviewing contractual reliabilities and design and maintain project control databases, spreadsheets, and other control systems to support these functions Prepare board reports and supporting documentation for project approvals and contract awards Develop monthly accruals related to project contracts Track and provide analysis for Earned Value as required Support procedural updates and corporate initiatives related to costing Complete any tasks assigned by the Intermediate Cost Analyst or higher in an efficient and timely manner Hybrid(Vancouver 4 days/week, Remote 1 day/week) With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers,
leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs Minimum of 3 years of related experience on large capital projects Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline Has completed equivalent training or successfully passed designated proficiency testing in lieu of the above BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: Knowledge of Contract Administration principles, methods, procedures, and practices, as well as project management methods and practices Proficiency in MRP systems including MAXIMO, EcoSys, and WorkDay is considered an asset Independently tailor technical information for different audiences through presentations, reports, and other means Ability to arrange priorities and elevate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership Excellent reading and language comprehension Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
