Competitive hourly wage, based on skills and experience Overtime paid after 40 hours Pension plan after one year Stable, growing company with long-term career opportunities We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plastic Injection Set-Up Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining plastic injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role requires technical expertise in mold installation and machine troubleshooting.

Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines according to production specifications. Install and remove molds, ensuring proper alignment and function. Verify correct process install for initialization.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to set up of plastic injection mold. Verify and stage injection molds based on production schedule. Provide feedback on maintenance needs on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Maintain accurate production records, setup logs, and troubleshooting reports. Train and assist machine operators on proper molding techniques and troubleshooting methods. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in plastics technology or a related field is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding setup. Strong knowledge of injection molding machines and mold installation. Hands-on experience with mold setups, related tooling, and troubleshooting.





Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and machinery. May involve shift work, overtime, and weekend schedules as needed.
