The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Flight Instructor Simulator - Type II Instructor to join our Customer Services organization based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will represent Airbus Canada in front of the customers, operators and authorities.
You will be part of the Airbus Canada Training Centre responsible for conceiving, building and delivering the best flight training and flight operations support to ensure the safe productive and effective operation of the Airbus Aircraft. The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, close to the vibrant city of Montreal. Conduct best possible training & checking according to your qualifications within Airbus Canada Training, to ensure a safe and efficient operation of Airbus A220 (BD-500) aircraft.
Instruct airline crews converting to Airbus A220 on operational and technical aspects using, amongst others: Classroom / Virtual Classroom Airbus Pilots Training Devices Work on different projects on demand within the Training and Flight Operations organization.
Represent Airbus Canada
Training and Manufacturer in front of the customer and have a proactive role, to identify potential problems and find solutions.
Give stand‑up lectures to ensure crew capability in normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities. Adhere to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations. Hold or have held a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Frozen ATPL or an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL). Fluent in English.
Upset
Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as Pilot. Minimum of 1,500 hours on Multi Pilot Aircraft (MPA). Minimum of three years commercial aviation experience as pilot on FAR25 / CS 25 or FAR 23 / CS 23 aircraft in Multi Pilot Operation, preferably on Airbus. Qualified and experienced as Captain and Flight Instructor on BD-500.
Synthetic Flight Instructor
Authorization or experience as Instructor. Evidence-based training / Competency-Based Training Assessment expertise. Project management mindset. Available for business trips worldwide.
