This program is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. The successful candidate would be required to follow CIMT College’s policies and procedures. The Instructor is responsible for following the provided instructor manuals and using the resource materials to train students with the required knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment in the field.

CIMT College places a premium on professional conduct, combined with excellence in classroom instruction, with primary emphasis on hands-on training.

Working Hours

Mon to Fri -9:30am to 2:30pm Demonstrate a thorough and accurate knowledge of the field Instruct curriculum using only pre-authorized and provided materials Teach students using a diverse and systematic plan of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, case studies, independent or group projects Employ appropriate adult teaching and learning strategies to communicate the subject matter to diverse students Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return student marks promptly Provide feedback on student performance Arrange feedback from students on the instructor, content, and facility at the end of each course Resolve student complaints and concerns with a positive and professional attitude Participate in scheduled meetings and annual events like graduation Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,



PowerPoint and database systems Have 48 months of work experience in the vocation OR Have 36 months of teaching experience in the vocation and 24 months of work experience in the vocation OR Have 24 months of work experience in the vocation AND o Hold a Bachelor degree from a Canadian university or an equivalent degree o Graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent o Graduate of a registered OCC or equivalent Meet Instructor qualification standards as outlined in the Regulations to Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005 Base Pay Rate- CAD $25/hr- $28/hr CIMT college is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible work environment.
