Our client is a growing specialty insurance organization seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial underwriter to join its Professional and Specialty Liability team. This role offers the opportunity to manage and expand a profitable portfolio while building robust relationships with brokers and carrier partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in underwriting new and renewal business, driving production, and contributing to the continued growth of a well-established specialty insurance operation.

Malpractice and Healthcare Liability Monitor broker performance and production results Maintain disciplined underwriting practices and profitable risk selection Provide reporting and portfolio insights to senior leadership Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance underwriting experience Experience underwriting Professional Liability, D&O;, E&O;, Medical Malpractice MGA or specialty insurance experience is considered an asset Strong understanding of insurance principles, risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio management Demonstrated ability to analyze and underwrite complex commercial risks Annual performance incentive opportunity Retirement savings program with employer contribution Opportunity to work with a highly respected specialty insurance team
