- Position: INTERMEDIATE CIVIL ENGINEER

Description This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of water resources, municipal infrastructure, drainage, irrigation, and dam-related projects across Alberta and Western Canada. The successful candidate will contribute to project planning, design, construction services, and client support while working with a team of experienced engineers, technologists, and project managers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Registration with APEGA as an Engineer (P.Eng.).
- Approximately 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in the planning, design, and construction of municipal, water resources, or civil infrastructure projects.
- Experience with hydrology, hydraulic analysis, and hydrotechnical assessments.
- Experience with the use of hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a multi-disciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning, analysis, and design of water resources and civil infrastructure projects.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Support project managers in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections, construction reviews, and construction administration activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists.
- Assist with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship development.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Water Resources group.
