Under the supervision of the International Languages (Elementary) Co-ordinator, the incumbent will:
- be the OCSB administrative supervisor for a school site during the hours of work and will be the first point of contact for any safe school issues from other programs or groups using the site on Saturdays;
- be responsible for in office supervision of the International Languages (Elementary) in person and/or virtual classes;
- provide on-site/virtual leadership and mentoring of staff and student;
- help with the registration process; curriculum development, personnel and financial administration; program planning; evaluation of program and teaching team;
- implement policies and procedures according to the International Languages manual and other OCSB policies;
- act as a liaison between the Saturday program and the K-12 schools;
- act as a liaison between parents and community representatives of the International Languages (Elementary) program, and the Board;
- perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- Qualification and experience in second language acquisition;
- Ability to work independently and to provide supervisory expertise;
- Experience in administration and/or teaching in the International Languages Program in-person or online, preferred;
- Knowledge of the guidelines and operations of the International Languages (Elementary) Program;
- Registration with the Ontario College of Teachers, a Certificate of Qualification or an Interim Certificate of Qualification and qualifications in the Primary, Junior or Intermediate Division or equivalent would be an asset;
- Advanced English communication skills plus proficiency in an international language would also be an asset;
- Excellent technical skills in MS Office and/or Google Suite
- Evidence of completion of First Aid Training or willingness to complete this training at own expense.

- Casual IL Site Administrators - various locations (on call or for temporary replacements)
