Support McGill University as an International Safety Education Officer, focusing on student travel risk management and safety protocols. In this full-time role, reporting to the Associate Director of International Education, your expertise will drive the implementation of safety education and international travel protocols.
Your responsibilities encompass training, data management, and fostering communication among students and faculty regarding travel risks. This position is integral to shaping safety practices and protocols to ensure secure student experiences abroad. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver safety education and training programs
- Manage the McGill Student Travel registry app effectively
- Oversee risk management protocols for student travel
- Analyze data and prepare relevant reports on safety
- Conduct emergency response and crisis management training
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience
- Knowledge of intercultural issues and risk assessment
- Strong communication skills in English and French
- Ability to prioritize tasks in emergency situations
- Experience with university policies on study abroad
