The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for maintaining strong partnerships with all vendors, meet operations product needs on a timely basis and evaluate and recommend current products to enhance standards and increase profitability. Now, If You Were To Come On Board As Our Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us Maintains “show quality” of all areas at all times Understands all menus, product offerings, packaging, and pricing Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable Compass systems (Purchasing Systems, Point-of-sale, Timekeeping systems, etc.) Oversees inventory procedures for accountability and ensures inventory best practices are in place Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance to team and to ensure lines of communication are open between management and associates Think you have what it takes to be our Purchasing Manager ? Able to communicate effectively with management team, associates, and guests by speaking and comprehending English Exceptional reading, writing, math, and computer skills required Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs)
