Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the IT team with their daily tasks. Phishing email analysis and campaign creation. Firewall and web filter log review and investigations.
Web filter allow/disallow listing. Virus updates, patch and service pack management, including testing, deployment staging, and documentation. Basic routing, switching, wireless network troubleshooting.
Hardware and software troubleshooting. Responding to system and/or network security incidents and breaches. Perform other duties within IT as required. Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux servers, core services and enterprise applications.
Advanced knowledge of networking, including routing, switching, firewalls in an enterprise environment. Knowledge of scripting technologies – PowerShell, PowerCLI, Bash, Python.
Degree or Diploma specializing in Information Technology.
Work Location : Hybrid (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change) Type : Full-time, Permanent This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations.
