Your role will be pivotal in their short-term recovery. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on the holistic recovery of clients in the Community-Based Stabilization Unit. Key tasks include food preparation, housekeeping, and engaging with clients for verbal support. Flexibility to work twelve-hour shifts on weekends is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clients’ daily living activities
- Prepare meals and maintain facility cleanliness
- Engage clients individually or in groups
- Supply community resources and conduct follow-ups
- Provide mental health education for clients
Requirements:
- Approved Personal Support Worker Program completion
- CPR certification required
- Prior experience working with mental illness is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid Ontario driver's license with vehicle access
