Full Time Leduc, AB, CA Total Oilfield Rentals (TOR) offers rental and transportation of drilling, completion and production equipment to the oil and natural gas industry throughout Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Our mission is to exceed customer expectations by supplying superior rental equipment, transportation services and product support. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for responsible for working independently and as part of a larger crew to mobilize, demobilize, and service oilfield rental equipment This position is fulltime and is based out of our Fort McMurray location. 12-hour shifts and will be a rotating position of 2 weeks in and 2 weeks out.

You may be required from time to time to work outside these hours as the need arises.



Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections; Responsible for using proper tools and techniques to complete the job safely; Minimum 2nd Year Apprentice or Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Alberta Apprenticeship Board Certification Heavy Truck & trailer experience Experience Operating a Service truck Preference will be given to candidates local to Fort McMurray and surrounding areas but not required. Travel to site will be required Versatile and willing to be on call some weekends Willing to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions with heavy equipment.
