Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, Delta 47.12 hourly plus 6.25% deferred compensation (2024 wage rates) Our Liquid Waste Services Department is seeking a Pipefitter (O&M;) who will safely and efficiently complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks at the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. You are a Pipefitter committed to safety and continuously learning and improving in your trade. You have experience working in industrial environments, making repairs to pipe systems due to abrasive or corrosive wear, and modifying or improving systems.

Perform a variety of pipefitting jobs at the Journeyman-level,-such as: refitting and repairs to sulphur, dioxide and chlorine systems, alterations to existing piping systems and installation of recent ones at treatment plants, pumping stations, etc. Measure, cut, thread and install steel,



stainless steel, cast iron, pvc and other types of pipes and conduits, test same on completion of work. Insures that safe working practices are adhered to at job sites.
