THE CHANCE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Shift Mechanic based out of Fort St John, BC in a rotational camp mechanic position to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing in office technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas engines and compressors at our client’s location. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but are not limited to the following)

- Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright
- 2 weeks on and 2 off shift




- Have excellent knowledge of natural gas engines, compressors, pumps and air compressors
- Cat and Waukesha VHP experienced required.
- Be motivated and well organized.
- Have strong customer service and communication skills.
- Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs.
- Willing to comply with all company policies.
- Have a clean class 5 driver’s license.
- Available to participate in the on-call rotation

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances and in small areas with many moving pieces/parts.
