To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add a Journeyman Welder to the Production team. This is a Day Shift Position from 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday This role pays $41.00 per hour. As a Journeyman Welder, you will be accountable for FCAW and GMAW welding of structural steel, aluminum,



and/or stainless steel.

Employee is responsible to perform the above mentioned, and any other tasks assigned to them in a secure manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s. Employee is responsible to understand and follow all Company Policies and Rules. Proven experience with welding using FCAW and GMAW, and plasma cutting Must be willing to work in other areas of our facility as required.

Previous experience in manufacturing environment an asset Must be able work OT on weekdays and weekends when required. Must be able to communicate effectively with Co-Workers, Team Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, Quality and Health & Safety. General understanding of engineering and sheet metal principles.

Experience using shears and press brakes will be considered an asset.

Experience performing preventative maintenance on welding equipment.
