About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Chemical Engineer to join their Research & Development team in Kimberley . Key Responsibilities

- Assist senior engineers and scientists in designing and conducting laboratory experiments for process development.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, preparing reports on findings.
- Support the scale‑up of laboratory processes to pilot plant operations.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation of experimental procedures and results.




- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Contribute to technical discussions and brainstorming sessions for new product and process development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant internship or work experience.
- Strong theoretical foundation in chemical engineering principles (thermodynamics, kinetics, mass transfer).
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in data analysis and basic understanding of statistical methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
