A creative apparel business designing bespoke ranges for a variety of clients, including sports clubs and major attractions. The company offers a collaborative setting where fresh thinking and original ideas are encouraged.

The Role

We are recruiting an Apparel Designer to create original, high-quality ranges that go beyond the initial brief. You will contribute throughout the design process, from concept to production, while managing multiple projects and working closely with customers, buyers and merchandisers.

Key Responsibilities

- Apparel Design: Design and launch ranges using existing style guides while also developing original concepts and product lines.
- Client Projects: Create bespoke apparel for a range of clients, including sports clubs and major attractions.
- Collaboration: Work with customers’ buying and merchandising teams to bring creative concepts and product requirements to life.
- Trend Research: Identify new trends,



techniques and commercial opportunities to help the business remain ahead of the market.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and confidently present ideas and ranges to customers.

Candidate Requirements

- A passion and proven ability to create original, commercially successful ranges.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat, with general knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- A strong sense of style and understanding of garment construction.
- Confident communicating, presenting and building customer relationships.
- Able to prioritise deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- A full UK driving licence is essential due to the office’s rural location.
- A relevant design qualification and previous fashion, sportswear or similar industry experience would be desirable.

Working Arrangements

This is a fully onsite position, usually working 8:00am–5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break. The role includes travel across the UK for client meetings, with occasional international travel.
