Project
Coordination and Technical Assessments Assist with acoustics, noise, and vibration modelling and technical assessments Contribute to air quality and acoustic impact assessments as part of federal, provincial or municipal environmental assessment projects and regulatory reporting programs Develop and implement environmental scopes of work and proposals Coordinate with laboratories, clients, subcontractors, third-party stakeholders Compile and analyze data, and assist in supporting environmental reports, including: data tables, field observation documentation, GIS/CAD, etc.
Assist in report writing and preparation of technical memos, letters, reports, spreadsheets and figures Assist to project managers and other team members, including geoscientists, biologists, engineers, planners, and environmental scientists We empower our teams to automate the routine so they can focus on high-value, creative problem-solving. You will be encouraged to experiment with AI-enabled tools to push the boundaries of traditional design.
Ability to work remotely if required Travel to other Dillon offices as needed to support collaboration, share knowledge, and drive growth across the firm. Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees A degree in environmental engineering, or another relevant environmental science/engineering discipline ~0-3 years of experience, with experience in environmental consulting being an asset ~ Strong work ethic with willingness to conduct field work ~ Knowledge in several of: air and noise modelling and monitoring, field procedures, basic chemistry, contracting/construction, site characterization, waste management, landfill design, health and safety will be considered an asset Experience working in industrial/manufacturing facilities and around heavy equipment, including drill rigs and excavators,
will be considered an asset Knowledge of relevant provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies will be considered an asset Proficiency in AUTOCAD, GIS, Surfer or database abilities will be an asset Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office family of products It will be dependent on the successful applicant's education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region.
