Analyze and report on key performance indicators as required to assess business health Prepare periodic (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) internal supplemental reports for the purpose of management decision making Research, analyze and prepare accounting transactions as needed, e.g. journal entries Participate in various month‑end activities,
including the preparation of journal entries and the investigation of any issues identified Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned Evaluate reserve balances, both required and actual, and make recommendations to management Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements (including cash flow) Assist with audit testing procedures for both internal and external audits Assist in the preparation of year‑end audited financial statements including note disclosures as assigned Perform periodic audits for clients or other stakeholders as required.
Research policies to evaluate transactions for financial reporting purposes in accordance with ASPE Ongoing evaluation of task areas to identify areas for improvements, increased efficiency and risk mitigation Ensure data consistency and integrity in reporting functions Complete ad hoc projects as assigned University Degree in Business or Accounting Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $54,610.00 - $77,825.00 CAD annually for full time employees.
