Join us as the Kidney Walk Volunteer Photographer and help tell the story of one of Canada's largest community fundraising events supporting people affected by kidney disease. Whether you're looking to gain event experience, build your photography portfolio, meet new people, or give back to your community, we'd love to have you on our team!

The Kidney

Foundation of Canada is a national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through funding innovative research, providing education and support, promoting access to quality healthcare, and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.

Location: Heydenshore Kiwanis Pavilion #1 (589 Water Street, Whitby) Capture high-quality photos throughout the event, including participants, kidney patients, families, volunteers, sponsors, and healthcare professionals.



Submit your digital photos to The Kidney Foundation following the event for use in social media, event highlights, newsletters, and future promotional materials. Help showcase the impact and community spirit of the Kidney Walk through your photography.

Have photography experience (qualified, student, or hobbyist). Have access to and can bring their own digital camera and equipment. Are comfortable working outdoors and standing or walking for extended periods.

Build your photography portfolio with a large community event. Develop communication and networking skills. Earn community hours (if applicable) and receive a recognition letter for your volunteer service.

Training & Support On-site orientation and support will be provided by Kidney Foundation staff. A resume and photography portfolio are welcome but not required.
