Take on a rewarding Registered Clinician role with NEOFACS in Kirkland Lake for an 18-month contract. Focus on providing essential counselling and psychotherapy to children and youth. This position plays a significant role within the Child and Youth Mental Health team, where you will address the psychological needs of young clients through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Collaborating in a multidisciplinary setting, you will implement clinical assessments and develop strategies to support families effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver counselling and psychotherapy to youth and families
- Carry out clinical assessments addressing mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with a team of health professionals
- Conduct independent single session support initiatives
- Facilitate communication with families for well-rounded care
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or related discipline favored
- Registration in good standing with Ontario accreditation bodies
- Robust skills in children's mental health recognized
- Bilingual capabilities in English and French required
- Possession of a G2 driver's license and commitment to obtaining G Class
