We are looking for an experienced L2 Production Support Engineer to support and maintain Reconciliation Applications in a fast‑paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring application health, resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, ensuring SLA compliance, and collaborating with business, operations, and technology teams to maintain stable and reliable reconciliation processes. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of financial/reconciliation workflows, and the ability to handle production issues with urgency and ownership. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $85K - CAD $95K/year &
benefits (see below). Provide L2 production support for reconciliation and post‑trade applications. Monitor and resolve production incidents and service requests within SLA. Perform incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management. Support production releases, change requests, batch jobs, and application health checks. Participate in 24x7 production support and on‑call rotations as required.
5–8+ years in L2 Application/Production Support within Banking, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments. ~ Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting. ~ Strong SQL (Oracle/MS SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL) for production issue analysis and data validation. ~ Experience supporting reconciliation, post‑trade, settlement, or capital markets applications. ~ Exposure to monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, etc. ~ Shell scripting for operational support and automation. ~ Experience with IntelliMatch or other reconciliation platforms.
Capital
Markets or Investment Banking domain experience. Knowledge of production releases, batch scheduling (Autosys/Control‑M), and DevOps/CI‑CD processes.
