Responsibilities

- Assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Provides education and competency documentation
- Implements and maintains the laboratory Quality Improvement Program
- Investigates, collects and analyzes data and communicates outcomes to improve patient care
- Obtains accurate and timely compilation of laboratory data
- Formats Quality Assurance (QA) Quality Improvement (QI) spreadsheets and maintains files and reports for laboratory administration.
- Develops education offerings, coordinates education activities, monitors team member and compliance to mandatory training

Experience

- Required – 4 years of Laboratory experience
- Preferred
- MediaLab experience

Education

- Required
- Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or Related Field

Certification

- Required
- State of Florida License for Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology, Microbiology and Hematology) or Cytogenetics.
