Join ALS as a Laboratory Analyst focused on environmental sample preparation.
Your role involves crucial sample processing, quality control, and maintaining production efficiency in a fast-paced setting. As a vital member of the Trace Organics Sample Prep team, you will manage sample digestion, extraction, and concentration for instrumental analysis. This entry-level position requires a degree in chemistry or related science, and ideally 6 months to 1 year of lab experience.
You’ll ensure compliance with SOPs while observing strict QA/QC standards in your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead digestion and extraction of various samples
- Perform sample processing and homogenization
- Carry out submission, concentration, and clean-up procedures
- Maintain record-keeping and documentation
- Schedule and plan work activities
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in chemistry or related field
- 6 months to 1 year of laboratory experience
- Robust communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
