ROBIC is looking for a Trademark Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Montréal or Québec City. Prior experience in trademarks is not required for this role, as training will be provided by the firm.

and more To work in a bright, fully renovated office space that is easily accessible by public transit, with complimentary coffee available at all times Manage opposition and non-use cancellation proceedings (Act 45), in Canada and internationally, by advising, supporting, and representing clients before the Trademarks Opposition Board at all stages of the process Conduct negotiations and draft settlement agreements in the context of opposition and Section 45 proceedings.
Provide general advice in trademark law, including developing filing strategies and offering opinions on the protection and enforcement of trademark rights Be fully proficient in both French and English, orally and in writing Have experience or knowledge of various regulatory law aspects related to trademark law, such as Canadian packaging and labelling requirements as well as Quebec French language requirements (an asset) Demonstrate solid knowledge of the trademark registration process in Canada and of the various administrative proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board of CIPO We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive range of distinctive benefits, all within a warm and stimulating work environment.
