Position: Lead AI/ML Engineer

Location: Mississauga, Canada

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6–12 months (extendable)

Compensation: Up to CAD 130K / $50/hr

Role Summary

We are seeking a Lead AI/ML Engineer with robust expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI solutions, with a focus on GenAI applications and advanced ML systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead design and development of GenAI and ML-based solutions.
- Build and optimize LLM-based applications using RAG pipelines.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies and reusable templates.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and APIs.




- Deploy and monitor models in production using MLOps practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in GenAI, LLMs, NLP, and ML fundamentals.
- Hands-on expertise with RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex.
- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, MongoDB Atlas, Neo4j).
- Knowledge of CI/CD, MLOps, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for deployment.
