About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Athletic Trainer to join their esteemed sports medicine clinic, operating on a remote-first model. This crucial role involves overseeing the provision of athletic training services, developing injury prevention programs, and providing rehabilitation support to athletes across various disciplines. You will lead a team of athletic trainers, ensure adherence to best practices in sports medicine, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to optimize athlete health and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert athletic training services, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive injury prevention and management programs tailored to specific sports and athlete needs.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of athletic trainers, ensuring high standards of care and professional development.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, and coaches to create integrated care plans for athletes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and technologies in athletic training and sports medicine.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), with significant experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Current ATC certification and state licensure (where applicable).
- Extensive knowledge of sports injuries, rehabilitation principles, and evidence-based practice.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
