About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Planner and Scheduler to develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for major construction initiatives in Kimberley. This critical role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of construction processes and project management methodologies. You will be responsible for creating detailed timelines, resource allocation plans, and coordinating with all project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery, optimizing workflows and mitigating potential delays.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain detailed construction project schedules using advanced planning software.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to define project milestones and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations.
- Develop recovery plans and implement schedule adjustments as needed.
- Conduct schedule review meetings and provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders.




- Perform critical path analysis and resource leveling to optimize project timelines.

Requirements

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and lead times.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
