The Makerspace

Lead position falls under the Delivery Department and reports to the Nunavut Community Delivery Manager. Your primary goal will be to foster creativity and collaboration in a community-focused environment. We're particularly seeking candidates who are passionate about increasing Indigenous representation and facilitating reconciliation. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee operations and activities of the Makerspace
- Collaborate with local communities to develop programming
- Mentor participants in project development and execution




- Promote an inclusive atmosphere for all ages
- Ensure compliance with safety and organizational guidelines

Requirements:

- Proven leadership experience in community or educational settings
- Background in project management or educational programming
- Commitment to Indigenous representation and reconciliation
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to relocate or work in-person in Iqaluit
