- Position: Lead Product Owner – Reporting & Data Extract Services

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- Robust Product Ownership and Business Analysis experience within the Canadian Credit Union ecosystem
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian Credit Union operations
- Strong understanding of Core Banking concepts
- Experience with customer/member lifecycle management, deposits, lending, payments, reporting, and profile management
- Strong knowledge of Reporting and Data Extract Services
- Experience with regulatory and third-party reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience with data mapping, business rules, validation controls, file specifications, reconciliation, and exception management
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage, data lifecycle, and master data concepts
- Experience with data integrations, ETL processes, and reporting solutions
- Strong experience in Product Vision, Roadmap Planning, and Backlog Management
- Expertise in requirements gathering, user story definition, acceptance criteria, and backlog prioritization
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Strong experience with UAT support, business sign-off, release planning, and deployment readiness
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and vendor management skills

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the dedicated Proxy Product Owner for the assigned functional workstream.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders,



Credit Union SMEs, architecture teams, vendors, and delivery teams.
- Lead requirements discovery, backlog refinement, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive functional decisions.
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery priorities.
- Provide functional clarification and guidance to development, testing, and deployment teams.
- Support UAT, business validation, sign-offs, and release readiness.
- Ensure delivered functionality meets business, operational, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Functional Domain: Reporting and Data Extract Services The consultant will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing the roadmap, and delivering reporting solutions across the Core Banking ecosystem.

Experience with third-party partners such as Equifax, TransUnion, Verafin, CUMIS, and DOXIM will be highly valuable.
