Leasing Representative (12-Month Term) - Cambridge, ON Temporary Leasing Cambridge, ON, CA Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. 2) expand the portfolio and diversify geographically through accretive acquisitions, targeting newer properties and dispositions of non-core assets; and (3) develop high-quality properties in its core markets. We are looking for an energetic and results-oriented Leasing Representative to join our team in the Cambridge area for a 12-month term. This position would be ideal for someone with strong customer service experience.
We offer a competitive salary plus commission structure (consisting of a base salary in the range of $45,000-$55,000 annually, plus leasing commissions). Field all leasing communication by phone, email and in person
- Perform showings of suites and tours of properties
- Assist with administrative duties
- Process applications and lease signings
- Perform bi-weekly market surveys
- Utilize Yardi Customer Relationship Software in day-to-day leasing functions; 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role, or experience in the property management and/or real estate industry; ~1-2 years’ experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service; ~ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel; ~ Previous experience posting ads on Kijiji, and familiarity with Yardi is considered an asset; ~ Must be adaptable and able to work evenings/weekends
