We’re looking for an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing client accounts from day to day, providing advice and coverage recommendations, working closely with insurance markets, and identifying opportunities to grow our book of business. You’ll have an active role in managing and developing a portfolio of personal lines clients. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with personal lines clients through responsive, knowledgeable service Handling new business, renewals, policy changes, endorsements, and quotations from start to finish Evaluating client needs and exposures and recommending appropriate insurance solutions Communicating with insurance companies and advocating for clients when questions or issues arise Reviewing existing accounts for opportunities to improve coverage, pricing, or overall client value Identifying additional insurance needs and generating opportunities through referrals, account reviews, cross-selling, and up-selling Shopping and remarketing accounts when appropriate to find suitable coverage and competitive options Assisting clients with claims,



including reporting recent claims and providing guidance throughout the process Following up on outstanding items and ensuring client accounts remain accurate and up to date Entering and maintaining policy information in carrier systems and Applied EPIC Keeping up to date with changes to insurer products, underwriting requirements, and the personal lines marketplace Previous experience working with a personal lines book of business in a brokerage setting A client-focused approach and the confidence to provide insurance advice and recommendations A good working knowledge of personal lines products and insurance fundamentals Applied EPIC experience is considered an asset At Claremont, you’ll have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals, build your insurance career, and be part of a brokerage that values long-term relationships - with both our clients and our employees.
