About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics and Fleet Manager to lead their operations in a fully remote capacity. You will develop and implement logistics strategies, manage carrier relationships, and oversee fleet maintenance and operations from a remote setting. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and fleet management strategies to optimize transportation operations.
- Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair, and compliance of the company's vehicle fleet.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Monitor transportation costs, identify savings opportunities, and implement cost-control measures.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Utilize fleet management software and logistics analytics to track performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics management , with a significant focus on fleet operations.
- Proven experience in managing remote teams and operations.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, fleet maintenance, and fuel management.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with fleet management software and logistics planning tools.
