About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead their operations on a fully remote basis. This senior leadership role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. You will work across departments to optimize procurement, inventory, transportation, and distribution processes, leveraging data analytics and innovative solutions. This is a critical position for an accomplished qualified looking to make a significant impact in a remote-first capacity.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure favorable terms and service levels.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions, such as WMS and TMS, to improve operational visibility and efficiency.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management , with a proven track record of success in optimizing complex supply chains.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of global logistics, transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in supply chain planning software and data analytics tools.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
