About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Team Lead to guide their operational team in Kimberley . This role involves supervising daily logistics activities, including coordinating deliveries, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. You will be responsible for leading a team of logistics personnel, fostering a team-oriented and productive work environment, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of supply chain dynamics within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
- Implement and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement,



and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain integration.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing and motivating a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and transportation management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and standard office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote planning with on-site oversight in Kimberley .
