About The Role

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join the Qualcomm AI Processor Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation AI applications tailored for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms. Your work will focus on designing, researching, and optimizing machine learning algorithms that span various domains such as computer vision, multimodal AI, and agentic AI systems.

You will contribute to both research initiatives and the practical deployment of AI solutions, ensuring they are optimized for accuracy, efficiency, and real-world performance on Snapdragon-powered devices.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, supporting innovative projects that impact billions of devices globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to translate research concepts into scalable, real-world applications that enhance device capabilities and user experiences.





Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning algorithms, computer vision, multimodal AI, agentic AI, or related fields. Proficiency with contemporary machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for innovation and building efficient AI solutions optimized for edge devices.

Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++ are required, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working effectively within cross-functional teams. Familiarity with embedded development, operating systems concepts, and software development principles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Stay current with the latest advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and foundation models to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into projects.
- Research, develop, and optimize AI algorithms specifically designed for deployment on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms, ensuring they meet performance and efficiency standards.
- Design and develop innovative reference applications that showcase Snapdragon AI capabilities across various devices including mobile, edge, XR, and IoT platforms.
- Evaluate hardware and software trade-offs, balancing factors such as performance, power consumption,



and user experience to deliver optimal solutions.
- Support the implementation, optimization, and commercialization of AI algorithms and applications, ensuring seamless integration with hardware and software ecosystems.
