Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, for Maintainers and Pilots supporting Great North Airlines’ mission-driven operations. Maintainers will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards, ensuring airworthiness and operational readiness. Pilots will conduct pre-flight planning, perform safe aircraft operation on assigned routes and missions, complete post-flight documentation, and coordinate closely with ground and maintenance teams.

Both Maintainers and Pilots will follow strict safety protocols, support mission logistics, and communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and client representatives.



The role includes participation in training, recurrent qualifications, and adherence to company procedures to maintain high safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

- Aircraft maintenance competencies, such as experience with inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and adherence to maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements.
- Pilot operational skills, including flight planning, navigation, crew resource management, and safe operation of aircraft in varied weather and mission conditions.
- Safety and compliance focus, including familiarity with aviation regulations, quality assurance practices, and commitment to risk management and incident reporting.
- Technical and analytical skills, such as using diagnostic tools, interpreting technical documentation, and applying sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, including clear reporting, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and respectful interaction with clients and communities.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., valid pilot license with appropriate ratings, or recognized aircraft maintenance engineer/technician certification) and ability to maintain medical and security clearances as required.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Toronto Area, adapt to changing operational needs, and support missions that may involve irregular schedules.
- Experience in government, community, or mission-based aviation operations is an asset; prior work in Canadian aviation environments is beneficial.
