Our Lantz

Site is home to both Shaw Precast Solutions and Shaw Brick divisions. Our Lantz maintenance department is currently looking for an Electrician to work in our Lantz, NS Maintenance Team.

Our Maintenance

Department is a central support resource for all Lantz operations. As an Electrician for The Shaw Group you will be part of a Team focused on Maintaining the Equipment on the Lantz Site. You will support the daily breakdown needs of the Site along with Planned PM activities across the Site.

We take pride in our ability to work as a team and provide exceptional service to our internal customers. Reporting to the Central Maintenance Manager the Electrician will be responsible for: A quick learner & ability to work with minimal supervision.

Customer Support

Oriented.



Ensure compliance with all Regulatory standards. Perform work in a manner consistent with plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks.

Annual

Maintenance support of the Site Electrical Network and Equipment. Communicate with both the Maintenance Team and the Production Customers to ensure effective Service. Provide technical assistance on Projects as necessary. Experience/Training Valid Nova Scotia Electrician Journeyman Certification.

Experience in the field of Industrial Electrician an asset. Red Seal certification would be ideal. Strong computer skills and proven problem solving experience required.

Experience with CMMS systems and Preventive Maintenance practices would be a key asset. Proficiency with information analysis and decision modeling. Arc flash knowledge/training. On call Site support. (Rotation.)
