Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. The Company's current focus is the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver. The first gold and silver pour at Blackwater was achieved in January 2025 and commercial production was declared on May 1, 2025.

Gold trades on the TSX-V under the symbol ARTG. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Supervisor’s, Lead Hand is responsible for preventative maintenance. Troubleshoots and makes repairs as required on machinery and equipment throughout the mine site.

Blackwater Mine site Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation Employment Type: Permanent Ensure that all machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired as necessary so that the mine operates efficiently and that production targets are achieved. Follow preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Provide input into planning weekly and annual maintenance.

Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out in a cost-effective manner. Ensure that all breakdowns are attended to immediately. Provide input into the development and updating of preventative maintenance systems, spare parts programs, maintenance practices and infrastructure issues.





Ensure that health & safety and environmental policies are strictly adhered to. Ensure JSA’s, SOP, SWP,and Take 5’s are completed and understood to help identify underlying risks and hazards when carrying out all tasks. May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.

Interprovincial Millwright Trade

Certification required. Minimum 2 years of related experience in mining industry at a Lead Hand level or equivalent. Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift Ability to work with minimal supervision. Comfortable working between Day & nights shift when required. Valuable computer skills.
