Reporting to the Manager of Track Maintenance, this position involves a range of responsibilities, from manual labor in tie replacement to utilizing equipment for track care.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background and a valid BC driver’s license, making them well-suited for this role in railroad maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute tasks like tamping and brush cutting
- Handle track machines and related tools effectively
- Maintain and inspect tracks and switches
- Operate company vehicles as needed
- Communicate maintenance needs over the radio Requirements:
- Minimum of grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Track Inspection Geometry Certificate preferred
- Experience with railway maintenance equipment beneficial
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
