Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our Jasper Maintenance Team at Forest Park Hotel. This full‑time year‑round position pays $24.00 per hour and involves maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our historic lodges, hotels, cabins, and other properties.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to ongoing maintenance of hotel properties while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
- Perform daily upkeep of all facilities, including pools, restaurants, guest rooms, and meeting rooms.
- Interact frequently with coworkers, management, and guests.
- Complete basic repairs to guest rooms and other hotel areas, and assist supervisors and the Maintenance Manager with major repairs.
- Complete yard work as required, including snow removal, gardening, and mowing lawns.
- Encourage and participate in safe work practices.
- Assist other departments as required, including guest services and security.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

- Grade 12 diploma combined with education in a trade or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
- Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Eager to learn and grow as a member of our dynamic team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience or knowledge in related maintenance areas is an asset (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry,



pool treatment, and painting), but on‑site training can be provided.
- Basic knowledge of tools and their uses (tools will be provided).
- Ability to manage large workloads, multitask efficiently.
- Ability to work flexible shifts: day (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and night (3 p.m. - 11 p.m.).
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract.
- Class 4 Alberta driver's license is an asset.
