Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.

The Manufacturing

Engineer will collaborate across departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives and support product development from concept to production.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Process Improvement projects
- Projects may include:





· Process development and implementation · Machinery modification / design

· System development and implementation

· Equipment research and acquisition

· Process improvement studies, development and implementation

· Cycle time reduction

· Change over time reduction

· Tooling downtime reduction

- Assists production in the recommendation of press automation.
- Assists in development and troubleshooting of die protection systems and sensoring program
- Assists Production and Quality Dept. as required in technical challenges
- Performs Industrial and manufacturing engineering functions for the plant
- Responsible for maintaining all engineering related quality records
- AQP team member
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management
- CAD Manipulation for part, tooling, process, equipment and plant layout
- Act as technical resource for transfer technology, servo feeders, PLC’s and Robotics (Programming, troubleshooting and training)
- Technical member of the Continuous Improvement and CAR teams
- Assist in development of training programs for the production department

- Initial Qualifications for Hire:

- Manufacturing Engineering degree or Technical diploma
- Process Engineering experience
- Self starter with project leader skills
- Previous metal manufacturing exposure a necessity
- Welding background/experience an asset
- Previous metal stampings experience an asset
- Computer literacy including CAD
