Role Description The Manufacturing Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Woodstock, ON. This role works directly in a department and oversees daily manufacturing operations including coordinating production activities, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets.

The Manufacturing Team

Lead provides hands on guidance to production staff, supports training and onboarding, and promotes adherence to standard operating procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities include reviewing production schedules, optimizing resource utilization, addressing issues on the shop floor,



and collaborating with operations and engineering teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Manufacturing Operations skills to oversee daily production, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and manage resources effectively.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills to interpret schedules, coordinate materials and labor, and maintain efficient workflow to meet deadlines and output targets.
- Candidates should possess Team Leadership and Communication skills to guide and motivate production staff, provide clear instructions and feedback, and foster a collaborative, safety-focused work setting.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial production settings.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or similar methodologies is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under time and production constraints.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field is an asset.
